Kook Soon Dang Brewery Co., Ltd. (CEO Sang Min Bae) announced that it will participate in Drink Seoul 2025, set to take place from April 10 to 12 at COEX in Seoul.

Founded in 1952, Kook Soon Dang is a leading traditional liquor manufacturer in Korea, with a legacy spanning over 70 years. Known for makgeolli, the company also produces a range of cheongju, yakju, and soju, actively blending traditional and modern brewing technologies to promote the globalization of "K-liquor."

Building on its strong brand recognition domestically and abroad, Kook Soon Dang has recently expanded its business to import and distribute foreign alcoholic beverages. The newly introduced 'Natur Zero Sparkling' will be the flagship product of this new business initiative at the Drink Seoul event.

Natur Zero Sparkling is a white sparkling wine made from the Glera grape variety by De Stefani, a winery in Italy's Veneto region. The wine features exotic fruit aromas and refreshing apple notes, offering a light body and harmonious flavor.

The product also aligns with the growing "zero-beverage" trend in Korea. It contains zero alcohol and significantly fewer calories than traditional sparkling wines, making it a pleasant option for many consumers regardless of age or gender.

A company spokesperson explained, "Natur Zero Sparkling captures the fresh and light taste of white sparkling wine with fine, persistent bubbles and a pale yellow hue tinged with green. It effectively replicates the experience of a sparkling wine while being non-alcoholic. We expect strong interest at the exhibition because it meets the rising demand for zero-calorie, zero-sugar, and zero-alcohol drinks."

Drink Seoul 2025 will feature a broader range of beverages, including spirits, traditional liquors, wines, meads, and sakes. Korean distillers and spirit makers will present diverse lineups reflecting conventional and modern brewing techniques. In particular, participation from meaderies is set to expand. The newly added sake section will host eight importers showcasing over 90 brands.

Drink Seoul 2025 will be held concurrently with the Korea International Beer Expo (KIBEX), Korea International Beer Award (KIBA), and Korea International Beer Conference (KIBCON), offering a richer and more diverse program for attendees.
